DESS^® precision drill for Active Hex implants

The DESS ® guide drill for Active Hex implants allows a flapless procedure and facilitates initial soft tissue insertion and drilling through the cortical bone interface. At the same time, it centralises the axis for the osteotomies to follow with contrast marking to prepare for drilling to the correct depth.

The insertion part of the drill is coated with Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC), in the same way as the rest of the DESS® drills. This coating provides increased corrosion resistance during sterilisation processes, resistance, and a low friction coefficient.
